Hi, I’m Adriana
I am the author of No Filters Mama and this is a parenting blog that has a variety of content. I created this blog because everyone’s journey to parenting is messy and has twists and turns that drive us crazy, but it has moments of sweetness. Life is not perfect, and neither is parenting. So let me tell you a little about me.
I was born in Mexico City and moved to the United States at seven. I am now the mother of my 4-year-old daughter, Paloma. Although I am starting my career as a writer, I was a Special Education teacher for ten years with experience mainly in elementary school with mild, moderate students with behavior and learning disabilities.
I graduated from San Diego State with my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in English. Later I graduated from California State University San Marcos with a Master’s Degree in Education in Literacy and a Reading Specialist Certificate.
